intersecting roads
traffic stopped in all directions
all the lights are green
All I see is green
green light
yet
but
however
No one moves
no pedestrians walk
no cars slowly rolling in anticipation
even on my bike, my breath is not held
Are we blind? can we not see the colour,
the position,
the space?
Motionless we lie
waiting
